The American Diabetes Association^® (ADA)’s Amputation Prevention Alliance is a campaign dedicated to eradicating unnecessary diabetes-related amputations. This effort will consist of facilitating targeted policy changes that can make more accessible tools and resources needed to prevent amputations and raise awareness among patients and providers about opportunities to reduce incidence of diabetes-related amputations.
